In August 1974, Jim and Rosemartha Cates opened the first Donut Stop
in Amarillo Texas. Today, seven Donut Stop locations
in Amarillo and one in Canyon Texas, employ an average of seventy people.
Our goal of "pleasing the customers" has been the driving force of the Donut Stop enterprise
since its inception. With emphasis on the production of a superior product, store cleanliness,
and a friendly atmosphere, we and all of our employees understand that satisfied customers are
the key to our continued success.
